Burton captain Darren Stride returns in place of Greg Pearson after missing the draw with Barrow because of injury.
Manager Nigel Clough is waiting to see if goalkeeper Kevin Poole will be fit while Michael Simpson and Danny Holmes will contest a place in midfield.
Mansfield welcome back defender Adie Moses after injury and he is set to replace suspended Maxime Chanot.

Burton boss Nigel Clough told BBC Radio Derby:
"Stride being available will be a big plus.
"There's one or two other decisions to make. Kevin Poole will hopefully be fully fit so we'll have to make a choice between him and Saul [Deeny] and it will be between Michael Simpson and Danny Holmes."
